Hello.
It is the first time I have read of (let alone heard of) a newspaper being arrested as a character dangerous to traffic. It is only an O. Henry who could pull this one off and with such apparent style. I'm mesmerized. The setting, the characters, the plot, interweaving to comprise an intriguing whole. His use of language and turn of phrase remind us, as if we needed reminding, how much he, O. Henry, loved the english language. He loved to entertain. With this story he has presented us with an ingenious puzzle problem and one to 'enthrall alike the simpleton and the sage.'
