'The Locket' is a story about intense, passionate, adolescent love.
It is breathtakingly delicate wth evidence of spring very much in the air.
The young couple and the old man are well characterised and the plot has an interesting, unexpected, twist in the tail. Not KC's best story but 'The Locket' is evocative of time and place.
